Exhibition in Wasserburg 2023

This year I took part in the member’s exhibition of the KUBA Kunstbahnhof with two of my artworks that I specially painted for the exhibition.

(⇒ Please scroll down to see both artworks in detail)

The German title of the exhibition was „Verzweigt“ (English: „branched“) and it took place from May 27th until July 9th 2023 at KUBA Kunstbahnhof in Wasserburg at lake constance (Germany).

Lots of great artworks from other artists were shown at the exhibition, too. Have a look at my photo gallery to get a little insight of the exhibition.

As you can see on the photos there’s a little art shop „Kunst zum Mitnehmen“ (English: „Art to go“) at the KUBA Kunstbahnhof where I also sell a few of my small-sized Original artworks and some of my postcard prints.

About my 2 exhibited artworks:

Here you can see the two artworks I created for and presented at the exhibition:

Title: „Power Place“ (Deutsch: „Kraftplatz“) – Acrylics & watercolor pen on watercolor paper, size A3

About the artwork „Power Place“ (Deutsch: „Kraftplatz“):

In the many branches of an old tree, many beings find plenty of space to rest and linger. It is a place of inspiration to gather new strength.

by Natalie Larimar, 2023

Title: „Tree of Life“ (Deutsch: „Baum des Lebens“) – Acrylics, acrylic ink & watercolor pen on canvas, size 70 x 50 cm

About the artwork „Tree of Life“ (Deutsch: „Baum des Lebens“):

A branch off a known path into the unknown requires trust and inner support, like a strong tree. This is how you can grow beyond yourself and create a new life.

by Natalie Larimar, 2023

Both artworks are available for sale.

Long Night of Museums 2022

Last year in October I took part in the Long Night of Museums in the KUBA Kunstbahnhof in Wasserburg at Lake Constance (Germany).

It was organized by ORF, which is an Austrian TV station.

Actually I was there to create portraits of the museum visitors. Well, nobody of the visitors wanted to be portrayed, BUT I had the honor to create something even more exhilarating for a member of the KUBA art club:

A portrait of her beloved cat Mogli. 🙂

I really enjoyed to paint that! And I am quite proud of the result. I chose the colours freely and intuitively in the style of my beloved expressionists.

WHY am I creating ART?

Painting comes from the buttom of my soul. Read here about my journey WHY I am creating ART.

I have studied Mediadesign years ago and am a graduated designer (FH). I once worked in online advertisement which made me feel depressive and burned out after a very short while.
So 2009 I embarked on a journey to New Zealand for one year to find out what’s the true purpose of my life. On this path very soon I discovered the existence of angels AND that I am – and since I was a little child always have been – a painting artist. Both changed everything for me.

Since 2010

… painting has been an intensive path of self-awareness and healing for me. It’s a path on which I got to know and to love myself and my inner child more and more, step by step.
I also completed various energetic training courses along the way, which I now combine with painting:
♥ MASTER ANGEL LIFE COACH® sessions by Isabelle von Fallois, like Angel Readings, Emotional Balance with angels, Shadow Process, ISIS ANGEL HEALUNG®, Angel Trance Coaching
♥ Core Shamanism methods like Extraction, Soul Retrieval & Power Animal Retrieval

Since the beginning of 2020

… when the world changed drastically from one moment to the next, my painting also changed. The intuitive expressive transformative painting helped me – in this time and until today – to deal with world events, my feelings and thoughts in this regard, as well as with my own topics, and to process them. The resulting works of art, which have a whole new depth, give me new hope, support and inner happiness at the same time.
In addition to that I learned a new tool by Isabelle von Fallois: ANGELIC BALANCE©, a very powerful tool.

About my PAINTING PROCESS

Soulful intuitive painting
Painting is a deep expression of my soul. Most of my paintings arise totally unplanned and intuitively from the depth of my soul. Most of my paintings arise unplanned and completely intuitively without planning or preliminary drawings. Before painting, I usually don’t know exactly what will emerge on the white paper. I let my intuition guide me when I’m painting.
It is different with commissioned paintings when the subject or motif of the painting is predefined. Then I have a vision of the artwork, perhaps also a preliminary drawing. However, the process of painting stays intuitive & I trust the creative process while painting.
Expressive transformative painting
For me, painting is often a process in which sometimes unpleasant – and perhaps previously well-hidden – feelings and thoughts are allowed to show themselves and have the space to transform into something new and liberating. That gives my art depth. The artwork that emerges at the end touches me. It is a process of self-awareness, a path into the inner landscape of the soul, on which you can get to know yourself anew and grow beyond yourself. Thus, for me, painting is a path of deep healing and liberation.
Painting technique
I work with various mixed media such as acrylic paints, water-soluble wax crayons, oil pastels and ink. Or I implement ideas on a digital level in Adobe Photoshop.

About my ARTIST NAME

From now on I will use my Artist Name Natalie Larimar for presenting my artwork to the world!

→ Read here WHY I chose this name & WHAT it means for me:

Natalie

Natalie is actually the second name from my bourgeois name Sarah Natalie Bloch.
For me the name „Natalie“ is my artist personality, the brave, wild, expressive personality within me who is free to behave and express herself the way she wants to. As an artist I need this freedom to express myself artistically.

Larimar

Larimar is a bluish greenish shimmering gemstone that I feel very connected to. It’s also called dolphin stone (and I looove dolphins). The origin of its name comes i.a. from „mar“ (spanish) = „sea“.

This gemstone reminds me of the ocean, and of the ancient times of Lemuria, which both is a big inspiration for my artwork.

When I look at this stone I can see and feel (and sometimes even hear) the ocean. I have always felt like a child of the sea, the happiest when being by the sea. Even as a small child they said about me „She’s like a little fish“ because when playing in the ocean I could hardly get out of the sea water. Also today I love the ocean from the bottom of my heart and soul. And apart from that: My eyes have quite a similar colour like my beloved Larimar gemstone. So it’s just perfect as my Artist name! 🙂
